About Mary Catherine R. Minvielle | Artist Bio:
MC Romaguera Studio is home to artist/designer Mary Catherine Romaguera
Minvielle. A native of New Orleans, La., Mary Catherine’s local upbringing is
visible in her youthful approach to painting. Her vibrant use of color and
expressive subjects capture the distinctive Southern lifestyle. Mary
Catherine’s preferred medium is acrylic on canvas and watercolor.

Mary Catherine began painting at an early age, receiving watercolor lessons at
age four from her grandmother and New Orleans artist, Lee P. Romaguera. Her oil
painting lessons started at age 7. Mary Catherine studied at the Savannah
College of Art and Design and received a bachelor's of Interior Design from
Louisiana State University.

When she is not creative, Mary Catherine enjoys real estate, designing
bathrooms, swimming, and playing with her dog: Julep!
